This day trip from Marrakech to Ourika Valley starts at about 07:30-08:00 AM from your accommodation in Marrakech. On the day trip to Ourika Valley from Marrakech via the Atlas Mountains, you'll visit the scenery of Ourika Valley and enjoy the natural landscapes all around, we'll come across the green fields of Ourika valley, consisting of a succession of neighboring mountain villages inhabited by Berber. After a stopover for lunch (at your own expense). We'll trek onwards to a sensational Moroccan weekend destination, Setti Fatma through Oualmas.
Setti Fatma is the origin of the 7 waterfalls that make up the Ourika River and each falling down into rushing streams of water, nestled in the Atlas Mountains. Our local guide is taking us to the first of these 7 waterfalls (proper hiking shoes & comfortable clothing are highly recommended).
In about 40 min hike, we'll climb rough terrain, cross bridges over running rivers and once we reach the base of the waterfall, we'll get the chance to enjoy the pond and all the greenery surrounding it. When done with the hike, we'll rest at a beautiful riverside restaurant overlooking the mountain to enjoy the famous local cuisine.

Many of our trips require us to move our base several times, so we recommend that you pack as lightly as possible. There will not always be someone available to help you carry your bags so you should only bring as much as you can carry on your own.

Clothing & Equipment- Season-specific casual clothes (men and women should always dress modestly out of respect for the culture they are visiting- no tank tops, low cut tops, or short shorts. It is not necessary to wear a headscarf.)

- A light jacket/windbreaker (NOTE: It can be very windy in Essaouira).
- A warm jacket (NOTE: It can be quite cold in the High Atlas Mountains from November to March. Please pack appropriately for cold, winter evenings.).
